Darjeeling Universal Campus offers the two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme affiliated to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Assessment

Examination System

The B.Ed. programme at DUC follows the examination system prescribed by the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU). Examinations are conducted at the end of each semester and comprise both internal (sessional) assessment and external (university) examinations. Students must fulfil the minimum attendance requirement of 80% to be eligible to appear in university examinations.

Internal Assessment

Sessional tests, assignments, micro-teaching, and practicum evaluation conducted by DUC each semester.

University Examination

End-semester written examinations conducted by the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) for each semester.

School Internship Evaluation

Supervised teaching practice assessed jointly by DUC faculty and BSAEU supervisors at partner schools.

Attendance Requirement

Minimum 80% attendance in theory and practicum sessions is mandatory to appear in university examinations.
